We were a duo of thugs going to Japan. Our money and tickets got stolen the day before departure, following which we tracked the thieves to their hideout, which was an underground speedrunner den. After threatening them and roughing them up a bit, we managed to get back our stuff.

I noticed some suspicious kid playing a shmup, and decided to menace him and check out his possessions as well in order to loot anything valuable. That's when I learned they were the doujin circle COOL&CREATE, and thanked them for their music. They explained to us that their music revenue wasn't enough to live decently, so they had to resort to stealing from foreigners.

The dream was longer than written down here, but I couldn't remember the rest.
