Early morning has become a kind of refuge for me, offering me the bandwidth I need to give this buffer a piece of my mind before the habits of the day set into motion.

Weekend's been nice. Been banging the drums. I got myself an Alesis Nitro Max electronic drumkit a couple years ago on a christmas discount, but had to wait until I moved places before I could actually unpack it... even then, it's been sitting in the corner of the living room for about a year and a half now, barely used.
Well, I found out about YARG which allows you to play Pro Drums rhythm game charts with a MIDI kit ^^ it's a fun way to practice without getting into the weeds of what resources should I use, maybe I should pick up some video course somewhere, what tracks should I learn first? something I know with an easy rhythm, but where do I acquire sheet music for drums? now I gotta learn how to sightread drum sheets too, etcetera~

May this week remain as peaceful and pleasant as the last.

Today's tune: Jamie Paige - I Wish That I Could Fall. One of the default YARG tracks. Hadn't listened to Jamie Paige in years and it was one of the only names I recognized, so I played that first, and man did it hit hard.
