Been helping someone with International Relations-related studies lately. I haven't done deep-dive research into these matters in a while, and I almost forgot how interesting and fun this stuff is. I should really get some regular reading done on my edition of the SPQR book. Maybe dedicate an hour a day?

I'll be playing the opening set for this month's Anison Hijack on Friday. It's making me somewhat nervous, since this is the first time I'm making a really well-planned one-hour set while taking into account all the transitions and progression. The theme will be psytrance, drum'n'bass, and a bit of retro acid sound here and there. Catch me on stream if you can!

Today's tune: Haruomi Hosono - Bride of Mykonos. You probably won't find this under his regular albums, as it was released on the CBS/Sony Sound Image Series album titled "The Aegean Sea". This is my favorite track on the themed album simply because of how well that East Mediterranean sound blends in with the base city pop/fusion genre. This album even got an unofficial vinyl repress that sounds better than the CD!
