apt-get's journal

Urbit may be a dead-on-arrival project, but their OS 1 project is pretty elegant. A design centered around private, high-trust groups, with a 3-tiered chat / links / writeup setup fostering productivity and permanence is close to what I've been thinking about recently, although I think an intermediary note-taking step might be valuable too (and they're planning on going that way, it seems, with pdf annotation and stuff). The aesthetic is really cool too: I hope this will be salvageable and repurposable outside of Urbit's toy OS and bytecode.

Today was alright. Worked a bit on school projects and some math. Forgot to submit some graded stuff, which sucks. I'll be quite busy this weekend with project deadlines, but these are some of the last high-effort things I'll need to do before the year ends. Only a little bit left.

明日も一日頑張るぞい!

Today's tune: Frost Jockey - Burgundy Trax Vol. 1, µ-ziq's progressive acid side-project. Very fun to listen to (as expected from an IDM artist).
